Music Played During Shawn's Funeral Services.
Click on the song title for music and lyrics.

Played at the start of the funeral service.

Shawn was a huge Davey Allison fan,
following Davey's death he had a hard time listening to this song.

This song reminded Shawn of our half-brother
Timmy who we never met and passed away March 15, 1989.

I added this one not only because it was a Guns N' Roses song,
but because Shawn was born the month of November.

Shawn's Favorite Alan Jackson Song

Song from one of Shawn's favorite movie "Despardo"

Shawn played this when he was depressed over a girl.

Shawn use to play this to annoy my Mom.
She would say she hated the song and he would laugh and turn it up.

From the movie "Spiderman" Shawn's favorite Super Hero.

Shawn played this when he was pissed off about something.

When my cousin and I went to see the car that Shawn wrecked in, we collected some of his personal belongings that were inside. My cousin found a CD that was by his CD player that had been damaged in the crash. The CD was scratched and it had glass and fluid all over it. I brought it home and my mom washed it with soap and water and unbelievably the CD played. It would have been the CD he had in the player and was probably listening to at the time of the wreck. The CD was entitled Slow Country, Disc #2 with songs he had burned. These were more than likely the last songs my brother got to hear.

Months before my brother had passed away, he had said over and over to me that he wish he could find the song that Alabama had sung the day Davey Allison had passed away. I knew he was saying it to me hoping that I would find it for him. It kept slipping my mind and I never got around to doing it. A few weeks after his death I found it and also the song Joe Diffie had sung at Davey's funeral. He never mentioned that one to me so I am thinking he probably didn't know about it. I wish he was here so he could finally here the song he had searched years to find.
